It was the 1920’s... an age of fabulous flappers, bootleg gin, and silent films. There were femme fatales, dashing heroes, and those wonderful masters of the sight gag- the silent clowns. They didn’t need voices... they had faces then!
Step back in time and experience the delightful fragrances popular in the Jazz Age, faithfully reproduced and carefully blended to be historically accurate renditions of the toiletries Ladies and Gents pampered themselves with in that nostalgic era.
Our hand made soaps are kind to your skin, generously proportioned and exceptionally long lasting. A brief biography of each silent comedian is wrapped inside each bar. Guaranteed to tickle your funny bone and prove that progress doesn’t always make things better!
Cats In The Cradle
We’re so proud to introduce the beautiful
Thelma Todd to our line of Silent Soaps!
Thelma’s favorite garden flower was the violet, and her soap is aptly scented with old fashioned sweet parma violets and also includes orris root, known for its violet scent, milk proteins to soften and soothe skin, and fresh raw honey from our local beekeepers. Thelma made a ritual of using honey on her beautiful complexion. It would appear that ritual was worth the effort, as Thelma was one of the loveliest comediennes to come out of the Golden Age of film.
